Center presents at North Carolina NAMI conference

Publications
Fred Jarskog, MD, professor, department of psychiatry and research director at the North Carolina Psychiatric Research Center, is author of a study “Clozapine-induced agranulocytosis is associated with rare HLA-DQB1 and HLA-B alleles,” which was published in Nature Communications in September.
Kelly Smedley, RN, MSN, CNS, clinical director at the Center, is co-author of “A pilot six-week randomized controlled trial of oxytocin on social cognition and social skills in schizophrenia,” published in Schizophrenia Research.
Leah Pribac named business officer
Leah Pribac, BBA, joined the Center as the business officer in August. She brings more than 20 years of business administration experience, including accounting, operations and human resources management in nonprofit organizations. At the Center, she oversees financial administration. Pribac holds a degree in accounting and human resources.
