Tracey Himmel and Manmohan Sihra joined the Center’s advisory board this fall. Tracey Himmel

Himmel has more than 20 years of business development experience. Most recently, she was business development manager for the Chapel Hill /Carrboro Chamber of Commerce and previously served as assistant regional manager at ReliaStar Life Insurance (now Voya.) She has held various community leadership roles and currently volunteers with the Chapel Hill Service League and Bootstrap, an organization that supports literacy in the Triangle. Himmel is a graduate of Boston College and lives in Chapel Hill.

Manmohan Sihra, MS, president of M. SIHRA CONSULTING INC., is a senior executive with 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He holds both undergraduate and master’s degrees in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India. Sihra has taught at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in engineering and management and been actively involved in the arts, including photography, painting, sculpture and poetry. He has served as a volunteer leader and a commissioner for

training with the Boy Scouts of America. Sihra lives in Cary.

Board members support the mission of the Center by advocating to increase its visibility and assist with fundraising efforts. The board, created in May 2014, is voluntary. Aaron Nelson, president and CEO, Chapel Hill/Carrboro Chamber of Commerce, serves as chair of the board.
