NC Community Psychiatrists’ Leadership Video Conference features Carrie Brown, MD, MPH

Our October 8 NC Community Psychiatrists’ Leadership Video Conference, specifically designed for community psychiatrists, is the first in a series to update community psychiatrists and other physicians working in behavioral health about the State’s Medicaid Transformation and to provide information and discussions on other important topics. We have also extended an invitation t0 psychiatry residents around the State to participate. This event is a collaboration with NC AHEC.
Our first program features Carrie L. Brown, MD, MPH, Chief Medical Officer for Behavioral Health & IDD, at
NC Department of Health and Human Services.
Host John Gilmore, MD, director of the NC Community Psychiatrists’ Network, vice chair of Research and Scientific Affairs at UNC Psychiatry and director of the UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health.
