The Center and XDS Inc. host a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner for patients and others in the community

XDS Inc. and the UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health will continue a Thanksgiving tradition that was started more than 20 years ago by Thava Mahadevan, the current director of operations at the Center, when he was executive director of a nonprofit organization XDS Inc. Staff and volunteers will host a Thanksgiving meal for clients/patients from the Center, the Department of Psychiatry, and others in the community who need a place to celebrate the holiday. The meal will be served Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m. at the Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church in Chapel Hill. In order to provide a meal to all that attend, we request that you RSVP by November 14th.
The meal cost is underwritten by the Center, XDS, and generous community donors.
