Francis Greenburger, successful real estate developer, author, and mental health advocate, will be the featured speaker at the Center’s Fourth Annual No Limits Gala at the George Watts Hill Alumni Center on November 2, 2017.

He will also receive the Center’s Community Mental Health Advocacy Award for his contributions to improve mental health.

The event is set for 6:00–9:00 p.m. The evening begins with a reception and silent auction, followed by dinner and a live auction. Greenburger will share his family’s experience with mental health and the legal system.

He is the founder and CEO of Time Equities, Inc., a multibillion-dollar real estate investment and development company, as well as chair of Sanford J. Greenburger Associates, a literary agency representing a number of successful writers. He is also founder of the Omi International Arts Center and the Greenburger Center for Social and Criminal Justice in New York, which advocates for reforms to the criminal justice system.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Center programs that serve individuals with serious mental illness.

“So much of what the Center does is new and innovative; it is typically not paid for with traditional clinical revenue,” says John Gilmore, MD, director of the Center and Thad and Alice Eure Professor and vice chair of research in the department of psychiatry. “We are grateful for the support of our donors and sponsors, and we look forward to another successful fundraiser.”
