Altitudes is a moderated social media and online learning platform for parents, caregivers, and other supporters of individuals living with early psychosis. The platform is a place for you to talk to other individuals with similar experiences, access educational material, give and receive support, and learn new strategies for stress relief and managing your current circumstances—all with the support of a team of clinical moderators and family workers. This platform is being piloted at two of the North Carolina FEP clinics.

We are also recruiting parents, caregivers, and other supporters of individuals living with early psychosis to complete questionnaires about your experiences, well-being, and support to better understand your needs and the services you receive at the other FEP clinics. Our hope is to provide all clinics access to the platform after the pilot project. This group will help us determine the extent to which a digital intervention could be beneficial to and supportive of families with loved ones receiving care for early psychosis.

If you are eligible and decide to participate in the research study, you will be involved in the project for approximately 6 months.
