Giving Thanks With SNMA and SBBS

Give back to the community during these difficult times in quarantine at the Raleigh food bank.  This is a joint event between the UNC and DUKE SNMA chapters.  Not only will you be able to help families in need as Thanksgiving approaches but you’ll also be able to expand your network to medical school students in the Chapel Hill and Durham area.  Ready to help feed those in need?  First you must complete a few steps in order to reserve yourself a spot for the event.  Follow the registration instructions below.

1. Go to the Raleigh Food Bank Website
2. Click on the event titled “Warehouse Project – Raleigh”
3. Click on the green button labeled “Sign Up”
4. Enter preferred contact email address and first name here, then click next to complete profile with your information
5. In the group search section please enter “Student National Medical Association” to be included in our group event
6. After completing the registration form, please email sbbs@unc.edu to guarantee you have been added to the volunteer list for this event. Please enter “Food Drive” in the subject heading and “Attending” in the body of the email.
