Project Console

Project Console is the opportunity to create personalized care packages for those in need. There is nothing like helping those in need when able and we intend to do just that! Please read below for more information on how you can participate:
Making A Care Package
We will be assembling care packages at Umstead Park which offers enough space to safely work together to pack over 40 care packages that will be distribute to our local homeless community by our SBBS members. We will provide the food, water, masks and other materials to go into each package. But WE NEED YOUR HELP in making every bag unique 😁. In each bag we will also be placing notes of encouragement and support to help those struggling to keep going (notes and writing utensils will be made available)!
Transportation
Need a Ride? No problem. Volunteers will have the option to sign up for carpooling in the survey included below. Please also indicate in the survey if you are willing to serve as a driver.
Parking & Safety Details
Parking is free and there will be a hand sanitation station before you enter and begin packing. We also will be enforcing social distancing and all safety practices at this event, so please bring your mask be prepared to maintain a 6-foot distance from all attending parties!
Additional Information
- Seating may be limited, so we ask that each member bring picnic chairs and/or blankets if able.
- After the event SBBS members will be headed to grab ice cream and socialize!
