Mia Klein, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, received the award for Best Basic Science Presentation at the Association of VA Surgeons Conference in April.
Not only did she receive the Best Basic Science Presentation which consisted of a cash prize, but she also won the trauma competition. She won a trip to present her abstract to represent AVAS at the American College of Surgeons in San Francisco, CA in October 2019.
