November 10, 2010 – Dr. Jeffrey Dehmer presented at the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), conducted in Washington, D.C., from November 5th through the 10th.
November 2, 2010 – Dr. Anthony Charles has been appointed to Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health Leadership Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Health.

October 20, 2010 – A study led by Dr. Raj Pruthi, Director of Urologic Oncology, has demonstrated that the cancer diagnosis and treatment process is enhanced by a team approach.
October 11, 2010 – Dr. Christopher Rupp was recognized with a Scientific Exhibit of Exceptional Merit award for his poster submission at the 2010 Annual Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons.
October 8, 2010 – 20 years ago, Howell Graham underwent then-risky, double-lung transplant surgery for cystic fibrosis at UNC Hospitals. He now celebrates breathing free for two decades.
Jen Jen Yeh, MD, assistant professor in Surgical Oncology, and Wenbin Lin, PhD, professor of chemistry and pharmacy, were awarded a $2,308,800 grant from the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Nanotechnology Platform Partnerships.
