Please join us in congratulating Dr. Tom Egan for receiving a multi-PI NIH R21 award.
Dr. Egan received the award in collaboration with Dr. Marie Muller, Primary Investigator and Assistant Professor in Mechanical Aerospace Engineering at North Carolina State University. The multi-PI NIH R21 award was issued from the National Cancer Institute for their project entitled, “Novel Ultrasound Localization of Pulmonary Nodules during Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery to Improve Surgical Resection”. They will receive $362,210 from 5/15/2019 to 4/30/2021.
