There is a well-recognized structure-systems discordance in osteoarthritis (OA), reflecting the multifactorial nature of pain in OA. In this talk, Dr. Neogi will review evidence regarding altered neurobiological mechanisms contributing to the pain experience, with implications for new treatment opportunities.
