Our team at NC CEAL is hiring for a Project Manager!
The NC CEAL research initiative is one of 21 Community Engagement Research Alliance (CEAL) against health disparities in all communities. NC CEAL is committed to strengthen communities across North Carolina by championing science-based resources, fostering partnerships, and promoting innovative, community-driven research to enhance health for all.
This primary purpose of the position is to manage the study activities and progress for NC CEAL research studies. This person will manage the development of protocols, the submission of IRB applications and modifications, the ongoing enrollment of study participants, data collection from participants, and assist in the analysis and dissemination process. The Program Manager will report weekly updates to the NC CEAL Program Manager and will work closely with the rest of the NC CEAL staff as a team and provide significant administrative support coordinating communication, project planning, and finances with internal and external partners.
The ideal candidate will have community engagement and community-engaged research experience with underserved communities in North Carolina. The Project Manager must be able to manage a dynamic project, write clearly, and provide overall project management.
This is a hybrid position with two days of work in office or study site and three days remote. There will be a need for occasional availability during mornings, evenings, and weekend for study site travel days.
