Our next event on March 12th at 7pm at Duke is an evening conversation with one of our MD-PhD program’s alumni now working at Duke in Dermatology, Dr. Matilda Nicholas! During this event Dr. Nicholas will speak with us on her career development over time, the challenges she has faced while trying to balance residency with her research goals, and what she has been doing to achieve her research goals since at Duke. Dr. Nicholas is also the author of a well-known and very entertaining blog about her life as an MD/PhD Student, from the beginning of medical school up to and including her faculty appointment.
