At SMI, Liz focuses on using nutrition to enhance orthopedic recovery and rehabilitation. She helps patients:
- Support tissue healing after injury or surgery
- Build muscle strength to complement physical therapy
- Improve bone health through targeted nutrient strategies
- Reduce inflammation to aid recovery
- Optimize weight to decrease joint stress and improve mobility
- Fuel safely for return to activity, from daily movement to athletics
Liz’s practical, evidence‑based approach empowers patients to integrate nutrition into healing, strength building, and long‑term orthopedic health.
She’s available for individual nutrition coaching sessions on Mondays at the UNC Sports Medicine Center (6118 Farrington Rd, Suite A, Chapel Hill, NC).
