The UNC Sports Medicine Institute Annual Conference is held to present up-to-date information and novel research to improve the care of active individuals. In alignment with our multidisciplinary approach to care, speakers include a variety of healthcare professionals and researchers who are experts in sports medicine, orthopedics, rehabilitation and exercise science.
The focus for this year is multidisciplinary management of hip conditions as well as injury recovery and return to performance with a holistic approach. The conference has been approved for 7.5 contact hours for physicians and APPs (AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™), PTs (APTA NC), and ATCs (BOC). Full details in conference brochure linked above.
Intended audience includes sports, family, and internal medicine physicians and APPs, physical therapists and assistants, athletic trainers, exercise specialists and researchers.
