The UNC Developmental and Stem Cell Biology Club meets monthly with student and post-doctoral speakers presenting their latest research. Pizza is provided at each meeting. The November meeting is Monday, November 20, 2017 at 4pm. Vincent Boudreau, Graduate Student in the Paul Maddox lab will present "PP2A-B55 and the nuclear lamina collaborate in centrosome separation through nuclear envelope-based molecular motors and centrosome tethering" and Maya Spichal, Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Shawn Ahmed lab will present "P-granule loss promotes the progressive sterility of small RNA genome silencing mutants". Talks are held in MacNider 322. Everyone is welcome.
