  • Staffed by specialized Cardiologists and a dedicated Genetic Counselor
  • Cardiomyopathies, arrhythmias (ex. Long QT syndrome), aortopathies (ex. Marfan syndrome), and other possibly hereditary conditions involving the heart and vasculature.
  • UNC Cardiogenetic Clinic
  • Staffed by specialized Neurologists and a dedicated Genetic Counselor.
  • Neuromuscular disorders (ex. Charcot-Marie Tooth), muscular dystrophy, ataxias, movement disorders (ex. Parkinson’s disease), neurodegenerative disorders (ex. Huntington’s Disease), early-onset dementia, and other possibly hereditary neurological conditions (ex. Neurofibromatosis).

  • Adults with conditions involving differences in physical features, sometimes known as dysmorphic features or congenital anomalies (birth defects)

  • Staffed by a Gastroenterologist with expertise in Hereditary GI disorders and a dedicated Genetic Counselor.
  • Evaluation and care coordination for individuals with known or suspected hereditary GI cancer risk including Lynch syndrome, diffuse gastric cancer, and polyposis.
