  • Education Committee
    The group of faculty, students, and staff that provides central oversight for the four years of medical school curriculum.
    Meets bi-monthly.

  • TEC Curriculum Development Committee: Decommissioned
    This, which reached its goals and ws group of faculty, students, and staff that is developing the framework for the TEC curriculum and will be providing central oversight for the three phases of the TEC curriculum. 
    Meets monthly.

  • TEC Foundation Phase Committee
    Governance structure that is developing the curriculum for the first phase (i.e. August 2014 – June 2015 and August 2015 – December 2015) of the TEC Curriculum. 
    Meets monthly.

    • TEC Application Phase Committee 
      Governance structure that is developing the curriculum for the second phase (i.e. March 2016 – February 2017) of the TEC Curriculum.
      Meets monthly.
      Chairpersons: Beat D. Steiner, MD, MPH and Alice Chuang, MD

      • TEC Individualization Phase Committee
        Governance structure that is developing the curriculum for the third phase (i.e. summer 2015; March 2017-May 2018) of the TEC Curriculum.
        Meets monthly.
        Chairpersons: Peader Noone, MD and Ana Felix, MD.

      Other School of Medicine Committees

      • Whitehead Curriculum Committee
        WCC is the setting for students, faculty and administration to discuss ideas relevant to our constantly evolving curriculum.
      • Medical Education Technology Committee
        METC is charged to investigate new educational technologies, to advise SOM faculty on uses of educational technology, and to advocate for the use of new technologies to improve our delivery of curricula.
