On Wednesday, September 3rd, UNC Anesthesiology’s Research Division hosted its 3rd Annual Celebration of Academics to spotlight a wide range of faculty, resident, medical student and staff research projects focused on advancing anesthesia care and pain medicine. This year, 27 non-juried abstracts and poster submissions were on display at the early AM event in Roper Hall’s Active Learning Lab. This year, Dr. Alexander Doyal was named “Faculty Researcher of the Year.” Nine faculty were named to the 2025 Honor Roll of UNC Anesthesiology faculty researchers:
