What drew you to UNC?

How clear it was that everyone was passionate about what they did and more so, passionate about welcoming and teaching residents. It is somewhere I knew I would be surrounded by genuine, hardworking people who make me better every day.

What do you love most about the Triangle?

The availability of nature. I love trees, and running, and it’s the perfect place for all of those.

What are your career aspirations?

I am interested in pursuing a fellowship in critical care or cardiothoracic anesthesiology.

What is your go-to fun fact?

I ran the Boston Marathon in 2023!

If you weren’t an anesthesiologist, what would you be?

Large animal veterinarian.
