Dr. Weigel engages in a diverse case load including general, trauma, orthopedic, outpatient, pediatric and non-operating room cases.  Since 2018, I have been the Editor in Chief for the ASA educational program Summaries of Emerging Evidence.  I was the co-chair for the 2023 ASA neuromuscular blockade management guideline, an author of the 2023 ASA NPO modular update guideline, and an author of the 2023 ASA GLP1 guidance statement.  I have authored of research papers, review papers and chapters on neuromuscular blockade management.  I’ve completed a fellowship in quality improvement research and have authored multiple quality improvement papers and a chapter.  I have served as an ABA examiner since 2016 and am currently a full examiner.
