At the end of every academic year, UNC Anesthesiology distributes awards to multiple levels of anesthesia care providers for excellence in patient care, teaching, mentorship and leadership. On Saturday, June 14th at the end-of-year graduation banquet, UNC Anesthesiology awarded multiple graduating residents and clinical faculty with honors.

Every year, the department announces a Faculty Honor Roll that is determined by resident evaluations of faculty, faculty feedback of residents by faculty (eg, MyTipReport), teaching efforts (eg, lectures, simulation sessions, mock oral/OSCE participation, “on-the-fly” teaching awards, etc.), mentorship efforts, and service to the residency program (eg, recruitment committee, CCC, PEC participation).
