In April 2025, UNC Global Anesthesia was back on the ground at Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) in Lilongwe, Malawi! UNC Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology Dr. Michael Hart and 2024-2025 UNC Obstetric Anesthesiology Fellow Dr. Jen Tripi joined University of Vermont Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology Dr. Robin Leopold (2021-2022 UNC Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellow) in teaching the newest class of clinical officer students the fundamentals of anesthesia care.
