We have a Global Health elective opportunity for 2-3 residents to participate in a 4-week elective in Lilongwe, Malawi at Kamuzu Central Hospital during their CA-3 year. The elective exposes residents to providing anesthesia care in a low resource setting and consists of assisting with the training of the Malawi anesthesia clinical officer students in the classroom, simulation lab, and operating rooms.
