Each year, we provide funding for multiple residents to present at the ASA annual conference (see UNC Anesthesiology Shines at ASA 2024!). We encourage all CA-2s to submit their QI projects for presentation at ASA. We also support residents who are interested in attending the ASA Legislative Conference (LEGCON) and the ASA Advance Business Conference.
Recent graduate Joshua Pyant (Class of 2025) served as the ASA’s Resident Scholar, participating in the 2024-2025 Anesthesiology Policy research Rotation in Political Affairs. Additionally, our resident Kian Lari (class of 2027) was recently named one of the founding members of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s inaugural Resident Advisory Group (RAG).
