Pediatric Sedation – Patient Instructions

Things to remember:
- Stop giving food at midnight prior to the day of the test.
- Stop giving milk or formula 6 hours prior to arrival time.
- Stop giving breast milk 4 hours prior to arrival time.
- Your child can have clear liquids until 2 hours before your check in time.
- Clear liquids include: water, Pedialyte, apple juice, Gatorade, Sprite, and Ginger Ale.
- Only two adults are able to come with the patient. No siblings can come at this time.

Debe recordar:

- Solo dos adultos pueden acompañar al paciente. Por el momento no pueden venir los hermanos(as).
