Our program features a structured Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) curriculum, which includes hands-on workshops, morning lectures, and online presentations and videos regarding cardiac, lung, airway, and gastric exams led by our POCUS-certified attendings.
Additionally, our residents receive hands-on POCUS experience in a number of clinical settings rotations such as the ICU and PACU rotations. Residents also have an option to complete an additional POCUS elective during their CA-3 year.
