Elizabeth (Lizzy) Knippler is the Community Engagement Program Leader at the Duke Center for AIDS Research (CFAR), bringing together researchers and communities with a focus on collaboration, empowerment, and openness. She partners with the Duke CFAR’s Collaborative Community Council (D3C) and leads initiatives that center lived experiences in the research process to ensure that research is responsive and impactful. With a background in public health, she is passionate about making science communication clear and accessible across disciplines and with the public.
