UNC CHER Social Media Comment Policy

Thank you for following UNC CHER. Our channels highlight faculty and associates’ work in health equity research, and health equity events, resources, news and opportunities. Consistent with UNC’s Policy on Prohibited Discrimination, Harassment and Related Misconduct and the North Carolina Campus Free Speech Act, we encourage your comments and opinions as they relate to our posts.

Our social media pages are actively monitored for relevance by our ommunications team. In accordance with UNC’s social media comments guidelines, we reserve the right to remove comments that make the following violations:

  • Unrelated to the particular post.
  • Make unsupported accusations.
  • Contain ad hominem attacks.
  • Use obscene language or images.
  • Blatant spam.
  • Contain advertisements.
  • Contain inappropriate personal information or sensitive information.

Repeated violation of these guidelines or behavior that substantially disrupts the maintenance of our pages could result in a user being blocked from the page. Thank you for keeping pages enjoyable and a safe space for everyone.
