Bio

Smeet Bhimani, DO, MBA is a dedicated faculty member in the field of Emergency Medicine, boasting a unique blend of expertise that includes an MBA in strategy and entrepreneurship. He completed a rigorous 4-year residency in Pennsylvania, where he not only excelled but also served as Chief Resident, showcasing his leadership and clinical acumen. Beyond academia, he finds genuine fulfillment in advising startup companies and holds the position of associate medical director in the Emergency Department. A passion for nurturing the next generation of medical professionals comes to life as he engages in bedside teaching with resident physicians and medical students. Additionally, Smeet brings a wealth of knowledge from his fellowship in leadership and administration. Outside of the hospital, he treasures quality time spent with a young daughter and indulges in a love for the great outdoors, embarking on invigorating hikes that lead to new adventures. Smeet is an avid traveler, always eager to explore diverse cultures and cuisines, though his heart is never far from the simple joy of savoring a delicious slice of pizza.
