Dr. Amy Amuquandoh, 2nd year co-chief resident in the UNC Preventive Medicine Residency Program, was accepted and commenced the inaugural REACH 2.0 Scholars program in July. REACH 2.0 (Recognizing and Eliminating disparities in Addiction through Culturally informed Healthcare) is an ACAAM program, funded through the SAMHSA Minority Fellowship Program. The program includes mentorship, travel and research funding, and monthly training and networking webinars.
