Dr. William Valdar, was accepted to the UNC Graduate School’s Frank Porter Graham Honor Society in recognition of outstanding contribution to graduate education at UNC.

Dr. Will Valdar has received an R35 Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award (MIRA) for his project titled “Statistical Modeling of Multiparental and Genetic Reference Populations”.
