UNC at Chapel Hill Stem Cell Initiative
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for an academic position (rank open) in Stem Cell Biology. This faculty position reflects a continuing expansion of the stem cell initiative housed in the UNC Center for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. Successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous, externally funded research program based on fundamental questions related to the biology of embryonic or adult stem cells. Specific areas include: 1): Research exploring the molecular regulation of embryonic stem cell pluripotentiality and differentiation, including genomic remodeling and nuclear reprogramming. 2): Active research programs focused on defining the potential of both embryonic and adult stem cells in the treatment of diseases.
