Monday – UNC Developmental & Stem Cell Biology Club

The UNC Developmental and Stem Cell Biology Club meets monthly with student and post-doctoral speakers presenting their latest research. Pizza is provided at each meeting. The March meeting is Monday, March 19, 2018 at 4pm. Daniel Jones, Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Zachary Nimchuk lab, will present “Cell-cell communication during reproductive development in flowering plants,” and Dr. Celia Shiau, a new Priniciple Investigator and Associate Professor in the Biology Department, will present “Exploring how the innate immune system modulates brain and behavior.” Talks are held in MacNider 322. Everyone is welcome.
