Monday – UNC Developmental & Stem Cell Biology Club

The UNC Developmental and Stem Cell Biology Club meets monthly with student and post-doctoral speakers presenting their latest research. Pizza is provided at each meeting. The January meeting is Monday, January 22, 2018 at 4pm. Andrew Spracklen, Graduate Student in the Mark Peifer lab, will present “Defining the mechanisms by which the Crk family of adaptor proteins regulate cell adhesion and actin dynamics during neural development and morphogenesis” and Carly Sjogren, Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Zachary Nimchuk lab, will present “Molecular Regulation of Plant Stem Cells.” Talks are held in MacNider 322. Everyone is welcome.
