Department of Genetics faculty, postdocs, students and collaborators published 14 papers during May 8th – 21st, 2022.

NIH/AHRQ/NIOSH have extended the special exception for post-submission material due to COVID-19 pandemic to include applications submitted for January 2023 Council, which begins with applications submitted for the May 25, 2022 due date.

Dr. Samir Kelada (Associate Professor, Genetics) and Dr. Karen Mohlke (Professor, Genetics) were awarded a 5 year R01 from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) titled “Regulatory Genomics of Ozone Air Pollution Response in Vitro and In Vivo”.

The laboratories of Drs. Yun Li (Professor, Genetics), Jason Stein (Associate Professor, Genetics) and Hongtu Zhu (Professor, Computer Science and Genetics) published a paper titled “Common variants contribute to intrinsic human brain functional networks” in Nature Genetics 2022 Apr 7.
