Research

Dr. Halvorsen works under Dr. Crowley in analyzing common and rare variation in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Tourette Syndrome (TS). He is actively involved in analyzing common genetic variant data from the Danish OCD and Tourette Study (DOTS) and the Nordic OCD & Related Disorders Consortium (NORDiC). In addition, within the larger Sullivan group, Dr. Halvorsen is involved in several analyses of rare variation, some with a case/control study design and others with a trio-based screen approach meant to identify newly formed pathogenic genotypes within the proband that is absent from parents.
