Brea Hampton, a Genetics and Molecular Biology graduate student and member of the Department of Genetics, in the labs of Dr. Mark Heise and Dr. Marty Ferris, has been featured in “Taking a seat with Carolina’s researchers”.
Ellysa Vogt is a graduate student in the Genetics and Molecular Biology (GMB) curriculum and a member of the Amy Gladfelter laboratory, where she studies the structural and functional plasticity of the septin cytoskeleton in an extremophile black yeast.
Marta Cruz Cisneros is a graduate student in the Genetics and Molecular Biology (GMB) curriculum and member of the Mark Heise and Marty Ferris laboratories where she studies how host genetic variation influences antibody response to adjuvanted influenza vaccination.
Jamshaid Shahir is a graduate student in the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) curriculum and member of the Jeremy Purvis laboratory, where he studies the dynamics of cell cycle progression under oncogenic KRAS mutations using experimental data and computational modeling.
