Dr. Susan Beck Retires as Division Director, Professor in the Division of Clinical Laboratory Science

Susan Beck, PhD, MLS(ASCP)CM retired from her role as Professor and Director of the Division of Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) on June 30, 2023. Dr. Beck joined the CLS faculty in 1980 and became Division Director in 1993, where she served for 30 years until her retirement.

Laurie Ray Named Interim Director of the Division of Physical Therapy

Laurie Ray, PT, PhD, has been named Interim Director of the Division of Physical Therapy in the Department of Health Sciences. Dr. Ray is an associate professor within the division and serves as consultant for physical therapy and Medicaid for NC’s Department of Instruction.
