The School of Medicine (SOM) Human Resource (HR) Service Center was established in October 2009 to provide centralized HR services to member departments and centers.

Service Center personnel serve as HR Generalists in supporting the full range of HR services. Responsibilities of the service center include:

  • Consultation and Management of Performance Management Cycle

  • Standardization of HR Business Practices across units
  • Consultation and training units on HR Best Practices
  • Visas
  • Parking
  • Onboarding/Offboarding
  • School Wide functional TIM Support
  • FMLA/ADA/Special Leave Consultation
  • Personnel/Payroll Liaison
