Learning Environment Praise

Dr. Silman truly did an outstanding job in making a great learning environment during my ED rotation in Wilmington this past January. He gave meaningful work to me in going to see patients, he outlined and elicited learning goals for me at the beginning of each shift (for example, seeing an MI rule-out patient, a PE rule-out patient, etc.) and always treated me with respect. He was also an example of professional, compassionate, excellent bedside manner in all his interactions with patients.
