Learning Environment Praise

I wanted to give some love to the pediatrics department for leading an awesome CSP block. Every team I worked with included me as a valuable member. Residents went out of their way to teach me and encourage independence, particularly Diya Jost, Matt Waters, and Zach Pettigrew. They also modeled exemplary bedside manner with patients and families that I one day hope to emulate. I worked with several attendings who made time to talk with me extensively about career planning and give me constructive feedback; a few who really made an impact on my rotation were Dr. Christine Williams, Dr. Carl Seashore, and Dr. Marianna Henry. Also, a huge shoutout to the block directors, Dr. Hobbs and Dr. Mills for putting together a great block for med students. The peds department is doing an outstanding job with this rotation and other blocks should take a leaf out of their book!
