I want to share that Sara Scarlet was an incredible resident to work with.

When interacting with me she was understanding and kind but still managed to have high expectations of me as a medical student. When she corrected me, it was done with genuine intention to help me learn and she explained why the clarification was important.

When interacting with patients, she was a role model and I aspire to communicate as effectively with patients as she did. This was particularly rare on my surgery rotations and she stands out. If a family member of mine was having surgery I would want her to be caring for them.
