This series is intended to share senior medical student experiences covering the entire research process, and to connect younger medical students with potential mentors and projects. During each event, 5 presenters (MS3s, MS4s, or research year students) will share their experiences pursuing research in clinical science, public health, basic science, quality improvement, and other types of research. In addition to presenting intriguing research findings, presenters will also share the challenges they encountered during their projects and how they overcame these challenges. This conference series will act to both expose students to the landscape of research projects that can be achieved at the SOM, and to teach critical skills required for successful research projects that are not formally taught or covered in our Research Skills Workshops. Through this educational series, we aim to build student confidence and improve research accessibility, which will ultimately increase engagement with Student Research Day.

Materials pertaining to the Mini-Conference Series hosted by JBG will be posted here.
