Medicine Grand Rounds: Joshua Berkowitz “Exercise Is Medicine”

Dr. Berkowitz will review data supporting the efficacy of exercise as treatment and/or prevention of numerous common and important medical conditions. His presentation will offer recommendations regarding the utilization of exercise for health promotion across a broad range of patient populations.

Joshua Berkowitz‘s primary appointment is in the Department of Orthopaedics, with secondary appointments in the Department of Internal Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics. In addition, he serves as Team Physician for UNC Sports Medicine, and Associate Director and Continuity Clinic Director for the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency program.
