The UNC Office of Academic Excellence is a group of faculty and staff who support students academically through the pre-clinical and clinical years, providing coaching, clinical skills training, and test-taking guidance. The OAE recently announced new faculty members who will join the OAE to provide student support across the state.
Kunal Patel, MD, PhD, from the division of pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine, will serve as the Foundation Phase Academic Coach to support students during the pre-clinical years.
Animesh Jain, MD, from the division of gastroenterology and hepatology, will join the team of Clinical Academic Resource Directors (CARD) at the Chapel Hill campus.
