Conference Attendance Tracking

Conference attendance is tracked using Poll Everywhere (instructions below).

Poll Everywhere

Mobile App

  1. Go to the App Store for your device and search for “Poll Everywhere”
  2. Install the App
  3. Open the App
  4. Tap the Menu icon and choose Log In (upper right)
  5. Enter your UNC-CH email address as it appears in the directory (if unsure of which email address to use, search your name / Onyen here)
  6. Do not enter a password; instead tap the single sign-on link
  7. Enter your Onyen and password (if you do not have an Onyen, create an account at polleverywhere.com)
  8. Tap the “Log In” button
  9. After you are logged in, join the presentation by typing uncgi in the white box after PollEv.com/
  10. Tap “GI Grand Rounds” to register your attendance.
  11. Respond to the attendance poll between 7:30-8:30am Wednesdays (for GI Grand Rounds / CCC / M&M) or 4:30-5:30pm Thursdays (for Core Curriculum Conference).

Web Browser

  1. Go to polleverywhere.com
  2. Click Sign Up (first time users, otherwise click Log In)
  3. Enter your UNC-CH email address as it appears in the directory (if unsure of which email address to use, search your name / Onyen here).
  4. Tap the “Next” button, then tap “Log in with UNC Chapel Hill”
  5. Enter your Onyen and password (if you do not have an Onyen, create an account at polleverywhere.com – if you are a new user, you will be prompted to confirm your name and email address, accept terms and conditions, and then tap “Sign up for my Poll Everywhere Account”
  6. You will be logged into your Poll Everywhere account
  7. Type the session URL pollev.com/uncgi into the address bar
  8. Tap “GI Grand Rounds” to register your attendance.
  9. Respond to the attendance poll between 7:30-8:30am Wednesdays (for GI Grand Rounds / CCC / M&M) or 4:30-5:30pm Thursdays (for Core Curriculum Conference).
