David Wohl, MD, professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases, offered insight into the current pandemic based on what he witnessed during the Ebola epidemic in an interview with Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN)’s Positively Aware.
“Right now, what holds for people living without HIV holds for people living with HIV,” Wohl said in the interview. “This includes keeping far enough away from others so they cannot infect you. In the HIV community we know a lot about prevention and some of those same principles apply to keeping from getting COVID-19.”
