On Sept. 15, the Division of Hematology hosted their annual basketball fundraiser for sickle cell. There was a blood drive, CPR training and of course,
a basketball competition. $28,376 was raised this year, up from $10,000 last year!
The IAR (Islamic Association of Raleigh) Soldiers beat the other 11 teams and won the basketball tournament.
300 people attended the event, and a considerable number also contributed to the blood drive!
